Our proprietary, two-stage process combines proven technology, novel engineering and world-class syrup refining. Our technology is cost competitive at small scale because our facility designs are low-cost, modular, located in close proximity to feedstock sources, and benefit from low operating costs. We combine off-the-shelf process equipment with novel engineering. Our demonstration facility in Italy has thousands of hours of successful production of high-purity syrups. By using the whole harvest and optimizing efficiency our technology is sustainable at its core. The lifecycle footprint of our ingredients is below incumbent products, and they are zero-waste and non-GMO. Comet’s ingredients can be an important part of a sustainable sourcing strategy.

Comet Biorefining has developed a novel process to convert cellulosic biomass into high-quality cost competitive cellulosic Dextrose, Hemicellulose Extract and Lignin.
